Hello friends of DB Green.  Wishing you all a wonderful New Year.

In 2017 we bring you a new program called Films 4 Change.

Films 4 Change is a monthly movie night showcasing documentary films with important and relevant themes on the environment, sustainability and health & wellness.

As a community event we want to encourage conversation and action within the community and how we can all make a difference or be a part of the change. To facilitate such a discussion each film screening will include an invited guest expert to talk to our audience about the issue as it relates to Hong Kong and how people can get involved.

Our first two trial films, Just Eat It, a food waste film, and Bag It, a film about Plastic Waste, where successfully received by the community.

Since the screening of Just Eat It a few families in our community have volunteered for Feeding HK one of a few food waste charities working in HK to reduce food waste whilst also working to get unsold foods to those individuals and families in need.

Since screening Bag It we have established a plastic footprint challenge facebook group. You can find out more by visiting this page and taking up the 2 week challenge!
