Good day today but more help needed

Posted on August 20th, 2012 in Uncategorized by Dana Winograd

Thanks to everyone who came to help at Nim Shue Wan and Sam Pak Wan today! You did a great job. There are still a lot of nurdles out there though. More so in Sam Pak Wan but Nim Shue Wan also has plenty. (will update on Friday for those weekend-only nurdlers).

If you are in Sam Pak Wan, don’t forget to look along the tree line as there are many nurdles just under the branches. Also, if you are there later in the day at very low tide, you can walk all the way around the rocks and you’ll reach another beach where today there were loads of nurdles on the top of the sand, ready to be easily swept up. And if you get tired of nurdling, there’s plenty of rubbish to keep you busy! We don’t recommend sandles/flip flops on the beach, especially if you are going over the rocks!

Please help us out by always returning your equipment to the main equipment areas (Nim Shue Wan, in front of the abandoned house and Sam Pak Wan, on the beach under the trees near the entrance).

For those of you who are not aware of the nurdle situation or would like some more information on how to help, feel free to contact me at dana.winograd@gmail.com. Looking forward to hearing from you. Dana
